Skills for the Future Programme

28 April 2020

Orleans House Gallery ran a National Lottery Heritage Fund supported Skills for the Future programme over four years from 2014 to 2018.

The Skills for the Future initiative aimed to tackle the twin issues of museums identifying skills gaps, and a lack of ethnic and socioeconomic diversity in organisations which aspire to promote equality of access to collections.

Orleans House Gallery delivered four one-year apprenticeships and eight six-month traineeships, with traineeship placements split across Orleans House Gallery and six partner sites across west London.
